Last Longer In Bed: Kegel Exercises May Do the Trick

If you are looking to last longer in bed, Kegel exercises may just be the thing you are looking for. Kegel exercises are good for both men and women. They are most often thought of for women during pregnancy to help to strengthen pelvic muscles that lose strength as pregnancy advances. They can also be used for men in order to deal with the condition of premature ejaculation.

There are several different variations to this exercise that can increase the difficulty to allow for expansion and finer control as experience is gained. The first step is to locate the muscles that are the focus of the Kegel exercises. These are the muscles that run from the anus to the urinary sphincter. For those that may be unaware these are the muscles that when tightened stop urination. It is these muscles that are strengthened during Kegel exercises.

The benefits of Kegel exercises is that by strengthening these muscles you can increase the control you have in this area of the body and thereby reduce the symptoms of premature ejaculation. The exercises are easy enough that they can be done no matter where you are or what you are doing. You could be sitting, standing in line, having lunch, even do them while doing your regular exercise routines.

The exercises themselves are simple; they can even be a couple’s exercise if you want since they can be done by both men and women. Simply tighten these muscles, hold the position for at least 15 seconds and then release. You do this 15 times to start and then increase to 100 times twice a day. Variations include the elevator, which involves being able to tighten only part of the muscles at a time increasingly until the entire muscle is tightened and then releasing the same way.

It does take a bit of practice and work to master these exercises but they are highly effective and while loose muscles are not the only thing that can cause premature ejaculation. They can be a contributing factor by strengthening them you can eliminate one possible cause. It also can help to increase endurance and stamina because the muscles are not becoming tired from use. Without conscious thought these muscled are tightened during intercourse but since it is not consistent or constant there is no benefit with these level of exercise on the muscles. It needs to be constant and controlled in order for you to benefit from the use of these muscles.

Kegel exercises are a great way for you to be able to strengthen muscles and help relieve the symptoms of premature ejaculation. These exercises can help you to last longer in bed and have the added benefit of feel less tired, sore or simply being able to have more stamina. Premature ejaculation does not have to be a problem for you or your partner consider the option of using Kegel exercises in order to be able to eliminate premature ejaculation.
